What level of SQL & Python do I need before joining?

You should be comfortable writing SQL queries (JOINs, GROUP BY, CTEs, Window functions like LEAD/LAG) and have basic Python syntax familiarity. You don't need to be an expert in Python pipelines or ML — we build those production artifacts together in Weeks 5-8 with 1:1 code reviews.

How does review and support work?

You join a private Discord server for daily stand-ups (post what you worked on, where you're stuck). You get reviews on every submission within 24 hours. And you get a 30-minute 1:1 review call with Anuj every week to keep you on track. This isn't a chat group with a TA - it's a manager who expects you to show up.

Are there live classes or recorded sessions?

Both exist - just not the way a course does it. Recorded: for every skill a task needs, you get a curated video course - most of them built by me - watched when the work demands it, not binged upfront. Live: a personal 30-minute 1:1 with me every week, not a group batch at a fixed time. But neither is the product. The program is the real tasks you ship, the written review every submission gets within 24 hours, and working with AI the way you would at a real job.

What's the pace like? Is it self-paced?

No. The instructor sets the pace. Each week has firm deadlines for stand-ups, submissions, and the weekly call. Treat it like a real job - because the whole point is to simulate one. And there are no group classes to attend - deadlines are on shipped work, so the hours you do it in are yours.

What if I miss a deadline?

You'll get a DM asking what happened. Communicate, get back on track. Miss things repeatedly without explanation - i.e. ghost - and you'll lose review priority. You're paying for accountability; we have to actually give it to you.

Question 9

Can I pause if life happens?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Drop a message in Discord saying you need a week or two off and we pick up where we left off when you're back. Pausing is fine. Ghosting isn't.

Question 10

You'll actually contact someone if I ghost?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At enrollment you nominate one accountability person (parent, sibling, manager, friend - your call). We don't message them unless you go silent for 5+ days without explanation. The point isn't to embarrass you; it's to make sure you have skin in the game. Most students never need us to make that call.

I work at a services company (TCS / Infosys / Wipro / Accenture). Will this help me move to a product company?

Honestly: yes, if you actually do the work. The capstone is a defensible portfolio piece on a realistic e-commerce dataset - the kind of artifact product-company hiring managers will actually open. I've sat on hiring panels at five different product companies; specific, real artifacts are what's missing from most services resumes. The program doesn't get you the interview - your resume does - but the work you ship here is what makes the resume credible.

Why pay when YouTube is free?

Honest answer: most of the learning content here IS curated video courses - many of them mine - so you're not paying for videos. You're paying for what videos can't do: real tasks with deadlines, a manager who reviews every submission you ship within 24 hours, a weekly 1:1, an accountability system, and the job-hunt run with you at the end. YouTube teaches; it doesn't check whether you actually learned, and it definitely doesn't get your resume opened.

Is the certificate recognized?

It's not a university credential, and I won't pretend otherwise. Here's the real mechanics: nobody hires off a bootcamp certificate - they hire off work they can open and question. That's why the program's output is defensible artifacts (capstone, dashboards, analysis docs) plus a rewritten resume that points to them. The certificate confirms you finished; the work is what gets the interview. I've sat on hiring panels at five product companies - that's how it actually goes.

Why Metabase and not Power BI or Tableau?

Because the skill that transfers is BI thinking - data models, metrics that answer business questions, drill-downs - not the specific tool. Metabase is free, real startups run it, and it lets you focus on the thinking. Once you can build a dashboard that answers a business question, picking up Power BI for a specific JD is a short jump - and I'll point you to the best videos for it when you need them.

What exactly does 'until you land' include?

After the 8 weeks of work: I rewrite your resume and LinkedIn with you, you get my job-hunt handbook, we build your application strategy, and we prep for interviews - and we keep working it together until you land. One thing matters more than the placement itself: you'll have run a full, structured job hunt once with me, so every future switch is just re-running a process you already know. That's the part no placement cell gives you.

It's just you, Anuj - what if you get too busy for me?

That's exactly why I cap how many active students I take and why there's no sales team or big classroom. You're not student #400 with a TA - you get my eyes on every submission within 24 hours and a 1:1 with me every week. The model only works at small scale, so I keep it small on purpose.

Is there a refund - and what if I genuinely can't continue?

Enrolment is a one-time, non-refundable payment, because what you're paying for is my time and review from day one. But you're not locked in: you can pause anytime (just message in Discord) and access is yours until you finish - no clock runs out on you. If you're on the fence, message me on WhatsApp first - ask anything, judge the answers, then decide.

What placement assistance do you provide?

I commit to all of this personally: (1) my full job-hunting handbook - the same playbook I've used to help students land analyst roles; (2) a resume rewrite so it reflects the work you've done here, plus a LinkedIn overhaul - headline, About, Featured, the keywords recruiters filter on - and a simple plan for what to post so recruiters come to you; (3) a pass on your project READMEs so your GitHub reads top-tier the moment a hiring manager opens it; (4) targeted guidance on which roles to apply for and how to apply effectively; (5) mock interviews on request when you feel stuck before a real loop. We don't do referrals or apply on your behalf - but you don't need that. Stick with the plan after the program ends and I stick with you until you land.

Will I definitely get a job after this?

No course can legally guarantee that. But here's the closest thing: I've already helped multiple students land analyst roles using the same job-hunting handbook + accountability you'll get here. The playbook works - it's not theory.
